The Revelation of Jesus Christ

  

My brothers and sisters, quite often you hear believers lamenting over what goes on in the world, and the need for “revival”.  You hear this from the pulpits, and at conventions.  You read it on Christian messageboards.  They cry out to those around them, and to God:  “Oh … we need revival! God … please send revival!”

Listening to some believers, revival is being touted as though it were the cure-all for every economic problem, sickness, and sin in the world. But  is “revival” what we really need?  Could it really bring the answers we are seeking?

No! Revival isn’t the answer. Neither is it the fix for every problem and sin out there in the world.  What we – both believer and non-believer – really need, is this:

A REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST.

My friends, when you receive a revelation of Jesus Christ inside your heart, you can be at home or in your car all by yourself, and have the greatest revival ever!  Nothing will match it!  Absolutely nothing!

The laws and commandments of God were never given with the goal of saving a sinfully lost mankind.  Nobody was ever able to keep even one of the more than 600 laws written in the Old Testament.  The whole intent in giving the law, was to paint a very clear and unmistakable picture of God’s holiness, and compare it to man’s unquenchable sin nature.

Every letter, and every word, and every verse, and every paragraph, and every chapter, and every single book in the Bible, from Genesis through to Revelation, was put there for one purpose only: To point out the One who is able to rescue us from such a terrifying and hopeless situation … Jesus Christ!

The entire Bible was both written and inspired by the Holy Spirit, simply to give mankind A REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST.

This is so important and central to the Bible’s theme, that God dedicated one entire book for this specific purpose: The Book of Revelation.  In fact, it’s the only book in the Bible where God promises to give a blessing to all those who read it!

It’s not entitled “REVELATIONS” (plural), as though several will be given – but  “REVELATION” (singular). Yet that one revelation is life-changing and eternal.  God doesn’t waste any time in declaring it either, for the soul of the text is clearly summarized in the first five words (Revelation 1: 1):

“THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST…”

My brothers and sisters, the more revelation of Jesus Christ you receive in your heart, the more strongly you’ll become convinced of God’s great love towards you!  The more revelation of Jesus Christ that you have, the more you will grow in confidence and trust of both God and His promises! You will come to develop an intensely personal relationship with your Creator, leading you to fall more and more in love with Him every day! Your heart will burn with a fiery passion to learn more about His Son, Jesus Christ!

Your life will be changed forever, in ways you simply cannot imagine!

 

- It doesn’t matter who you are …

- It doesn’t matter what country you are from …

- It doesn’t matter what language you speak …

- It doesn’t matter about the color of your skin …

- It doesn’t matter if you are male or female …

- It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor …

- It doesn’t matter if you are educated or not …

 

There is only one matter of concern: A Revelation of Jesus Christ.

 

If you have never received the life-giving presence of Jesus Christ …

If you would like to spend eternity with the One whose love for you was so great, that He poured out His blood on the cross and died for you …

If you want your life to be amazingly changed by the One who rose from the dead within three days after He was laid in the tomb …

Then bow your head now, and ask Jesus Christ to save you, and come to live inside of you. You don’t have to be perfect to come to Jesus. You don’t have to be religious. You just have to want Him to save you! It’s the only thing required – nothing else. You just have to want Him!

If you’re already a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and He has given to you the free gift of eternal life – ask Him to open the eyes of your heart, with an ever-increasing revelation knowledge of Him.

I promise you that He will – and that Revelation of Jesus Christ within your heart will bring such a power, that it will dramatically change both your life and Christian walk, forever!
